All money the Away Travel Club raises is re-invested
in the club. This season the group are sponsoring
Michael Gash, Josh Simpson and Youth Player Jordan
Patrick. It also throughout the year provides
additional money and assistance to Youth Development
scheme. The group is an important part of the club and
everyone from Jimmy Quinn, the players and staff of
Cambridge United are really behind them and all their

Cambridge United fans are set to turn Histon’s Glassworld Stadium into a sea of Amber and Black this Saturday as the U’s play Steve Fallon’s men in the 1st Round of the FA Trophy.

The fixture, the first competitive match between the two clubs in approaching half a century, has captured the imagination of the local public with U’s fans snapping up almost all of the 1200 allocation of tickets, just a few remaining on general sale until 5pm on Friday.

Sponsorship has been secured from a number of companies for the purchase of over 2,000 Amber and Black balloons, as well as half a ton of biodegradable yellow ticker tape to create a party atmosphere in the away end as the teams take to the field before kick off.

Lifelong United fan Will Jones, who has organised the sponsorship commented, “With thanks to Limousine Cuisine, there will be a sea of Amber and Black in the Glassworld Stadium this weekend as we take on our local neighbours and friends from Histon Town.

“I hope every United supporter will wear their U’s tops and scarves with as much pride and passion as ever before…let’s turn The Glassword Stadium into a sea of Amber and Black and roar the U's on to victory."
